Description

Durham Region’s 2026 proposed budget provides operating, land management, and special project levy funding to Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, including major investments in SNAP neighbourhood climate programs, Lynde Shores wetland restoration, Bowmanville and Soper Creek floodplain remapping, and the Resilient Agriculture Landscape Program. The multi‑source funded package supports watershed health, climate resilience, and agricultural best management practices across the Region for the 2026 fiscal year.
