Auburn University plans to enter a ground lease and project agreement with the Auburn Industrial Development Board to deliver a new cooperative fisheries research facility on a seven-acre site in North Auburn. The University will fund up to $10 million in design, construction, and equipment costs, expected to be reimbursed by USFWS, and will lease the facility from AIDB for up to 20 years before assuming ownership.
