COM, Galveston County Interlocal for Police Academy

College of the Mainland’s Board of Trustees is asked to approve an interlocal agreement with Galveston County to conduct the Galveston County Law Enforcement Academy on the COM campus. Under the FY 26-27 Operating Budget-funded partnership, the County will operate the licensed academy while COM provides facilities, student services, and college credit for co-enrolled cadets.
