Temporary Easement for Pass-a-Grille Dredging Project

The City of St. Pete Beach plans to grant Pinellas County a temporary construction easement over Gulf Way property for the Pass-a-Grille Channel Dredge and sand placement project, allowing access, staging, and related construction activities through at most August 31, 2028. The easement may be assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its contractors to facilitate project completion.

Temporary construction easement automatically terminates when the County notifies the City it no longer needs the easement areas for the project, or automatically on 2028-08-31 if no notice is given. If the project is delayed, the County must notify the City in writing of the new completion date and the City shall extend the easement accordingly.
