Sandy Approves Recycling IGA With Clackamas County

The City of Sandy is authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with Clackamas County to administer recycling compliance and Plastic Pollution and Recycling Modernization Act programs on the City’s behalf. The agreement, effective January 1, 2026 and automatically renewing annually, formalizes county-wide recycling services, contamination reduction efforts, and funding arrangements with the statewide Producer Responsibility Organization.
