City grants lake host use of boat launch for AIS outreach

The City of Hayden plans to enter a temporary property use agreement with the Hayden Lake Watershed Improvement District to allow an informational aquatic invasive species prevention station at the Honeysuckle Boat Launch through early September 2026. HLWID will staff the site with lake hosts, provide signage and insurance, while the City provides access and limited public awareness support without financial contribution.
