City IGA to Pledge Pool Tax to Recreation District

The City of Cañon City plans to enter an intergovernmental agreement with the Cañon City Area Metropolitan Recreation and Park District, under which the City’s 0.3% Pool Sales and Use Tax will be pledged through 2050 to support up to $18 million in District debt for a new community recreation pool and related improvements, as well as operations and maintenance.
