The Town of Southbury has engaged Verogy through a competitively awarded RFP to lease approximately 3–3.5 acres atop its capped landfill for a 20‑year solar PV project, paying $38,563.47 annually (total $771,269.42). Verogy will design, build, finance, and operate the system under a long‑term revenue contract with Eversource, backed by a decommissioning bond and extension options.
