GCEDC and SSW are now proposing the construction of the Oakfield Force Main for treatment of wastewater from Edwards Vacuum and Plug Power while working to resolve issues currently preventing the implementation of the Shelby Plan. GCEDC and SSW believe this is the most prudent path forward as it will address wastewater needs at STAMP in the short term while also potentially resulting in new investments in the Oakfield WWTF.
