Eastern Suffolk Boces Awards Facilities Contract to Patchogue-medford Union Free School District (July 2026)

Base classroom rent for 2026/2027 equal to 5 × $10,752.16 per classroom, escalated annually by the tax cap’s allowable growth factor (lesser of 2% or CPI-U) for 2027/2028 and 2028/2029

September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029, terminable effective June 30 of any year per Section 15

Lease term runs from September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029, with rent escalated each school year by the property tax cap allowable growth factor (lesser of 2% or CPI-U). Either ESBOCES or the District may terminate the agreement effective June 30 of any year: ESBOCES for program enrollment declines, and the District for enrollment increases requiring the space, with District notice due by the preceding December 31.
