The Town of Gibraltar had contracted with Bertram Communications to build a town-wide high-speed fiber internet network in ten phases over approximately 18 summer months beginning in 2025. After delays, subcontractor disputes, and non-compliance, the Town Board terminated the Bertram agreement on August 14, 2025 without expending taxpayer funds.
