Ottawa County was approved to serve as Designated Assessor for multiple local units under a per-parcel fee agreement, with additional fees for reappraisal and special assessment tasks. The contract is effective January 1, 2027 and continues while Brian Busscher remains Equalization Director. Local units pay only if Designated Assessor services are activated.
