The Juneau School District Board is considering approval of a one-year no-cost extension of the Sealaska Heritage Institute grant to fund three TCLL positions and related professional development for the 2025-2026 school year. The district will continue to fund two additional Tlingit language teacher positions through its operating budget to maintain a full slate of language teachers at TCLL.
