The City of Stafford approved an interlocal agreement with the Stafford Municipal School District to provide five school resource officers across district campuses. SMSD will reimburse the City for two officers’ salaries and benefits, SRO-related overtime, and up to $6,000 in training during 2025–26, with the agreement effective September 1, 2025 and continuing until cancelled with 90 days’ notice.
