Agreement is effective upon approval of both boards of education and shall be reviewed and renewed yearly unless a party gives written notice of its desire to terminate on or before January 15 of the preceding school year, in which case it terminates at 11:59 p.m. on June 30 of the next succeeding school year. Either party may also terminate mid-term for specified legal, funding, or regulatory changes, with termination effective at the end of the semester in which notice is given.
