The Port of Long Beach proposes to enter into a two-year Memorandum of Understanding with Shenzhen Port Group Company Limited to establish a sister port cooperation relationship focused on sustainability, trade, and logistics, with an automatic two-year extension. The agreement complements an existing transpacific green maritime economy cooperation framework and will be ceremonially signed in Shenzhen on July 9, 2026, subject to Board approval.
