25-Year Tower Site Agreement with Georgia DNR Proposed

Harris County is considering a 25-year intergovernmental agreement with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to construct and operate a 100-foot radio communications tower at F.D. Roosevelt State Park for its new 911 radio system. The County will fund and perform all construction, maintenance, and relocation of existing users, while DNR grants site access and retains the right to terminate with 90 days’ notice.
