Skagit Council on Aging will assume the Meals on Wheels contract on July 1, 2026, continuing the existing level of senior meal services through the end of 2026. During this period SCOA will work with Mount Vernon, other cities, and Skagit County to explore efficiencies and future changes to the senior nutrition program for 2027.
