The Apex Town Council approved an agreement with the North Carolina Department of Transportation to reimburse NCDOT up to $447,860 for preliminary engineering and right-of-way acquisition for operational improvements at the intersection of Olive Chapel Road and Apex Barbecue Road. The agreement covers 35% of costs up to $1,279,600 and 100% of any excess costs, and will enable project progression.
