Chatham-Kent Council approved a joint anaerobic digester Waste to Energy project with Greenfield Global Inc., committing up to $16 million in equity, a $25 million Infrastructure Ontario debenture over 15 years, and an additional advance of up to $600,000 for detailed engineering. The project will be constructed and operated at 175 Bloomfield Road in partnership with the Public Utilities Commission.
