The City of St. Charles plans to amend its intergovernmental agreement with Kane County to allocate $600,000 plus closing fees from the local Housing Trust Fund to the Kane County Affordable Housing Fund for 2026 projects in St. Charles. Kane County will administer these funds as 0% interest development loans to affordable housing developers through its 2026 Affordable Housing Fund RFP.
