Description

The City of Lafayette approved an updated Contra Costa Clean Water Program Inspection Activities Agreement under which Central Contra Costa Sanitary District will continue to provide MS4 stormwater inspections and related enforcement services on the City’s behalf. The agreement establishes ongoing, reimbursable professional services with no fixed end date and supersedes a 2009 inspection agreement.

This agreement supersedes the October 26, 2009 inspection agreement and continues indefinitely until terminated: the Inspection Agency or District may terminate with 180 days’ notice (30 days for certain District terminations), and the City may terminate or suspend services with 90 days’ notice. Annual budgets must be approved by both the City and District; failure by the District to approve by April 30 allows the Inspection Agency to terminate effective July 1.
