The Council accepted a $2.44 million Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Nashville Waste Services. The three-year award will fund specialized MRF equipment and smart public litter baskets from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2029.
