Description
Hamilton County Schools approved an energy agreement with Excel Energy Group Inc. for a $6.2 million district-wide LED lighting upgrade financed primarily through the Energy Efficient Schools Initiative. The 10.5-year, low-interest project includes a performance guarantee that energy and maintenance savings will offset the district’s payments and incorporates TVA incentives and bond-funded capital contributions.
