In October 2025, South Coast AQMD approved a contract with Arc under a U.S. EPA Targeted Airshed Grant to design and install a 4.8-megawatt marine vessel rapid charging system with battery megapacks at Berth 60 in the Port of Los Angeles. The system will provide high-power charging for Arc’s zero-emission vessels and other port traffic.
