Description

Lyons Township High School District 204 plans to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of La Grange under which the Village will provide a School Resource Officer at North Campus and limited access to school security cameras. In return, the District will pay 65% of the officer’s salary and benefit costs, including related overtime, for an initial one-year term beginning July 1, 2026, with automatic annual renewals.

Agreement term begins July 1, 2026 and runs one year, automatically renewing annually for successive July 1–June 30 periods unless terminated by either party. The Village may terminate with 60 days’ written notice and the School District may terminate with six months’ written notice; Section III (digital camera access) may be terminated separately on 30 days’ notice. Cost-sharing and indemnification provisions survive termination, and the parties must meet in odd-numbered years starting in 2027 to review the relationship.
