The City of Canby is considering an intergovernmental agreement with Clackamas County to continue countywide recycling, waste reduction, and contamination reduction services on the City’s behalf under state recycling laws. The agreement would replace a 2009 letter of understanding and authorize the County to receive and manage Metro and Producer Responsibility Organization funding tied to Canby’s recycling obligations.
