Riveridge wins grant to rebuild cider facility

The Commission approved a $100,000 performance-based Food and Agriculture Investment Fund grant to Riveridge Produce Marketing Inc. for a $7.85 million project to rebuild and expand its cider production facility in Newaygo County. The new 36,000-square-foot plant will boost shelf-stable cider capacity and add more than a dozen full-time jobs.
