The Board of Trustees approve the contract with ARAM Electric, Inc. for the Westmont High School fire alarm project, at an amount not to exceed $1,677,000.00, which bid the project using the formal public bidding process, which allows construction services of more than $220,000 to seek competitive bids through public advertisement for the submission of sealed bids, the public opening of bids, and the award of contracts to the lowest responsible bidder that is responsive to the solicitation for bids as set forth in Section 22032 (c), 22036-22038 of the Public Contract Code.
