Dufferin County’s Emergency Management Division recommends discontinuing the Alertable internal emergency alerting platform at contract renewal, eliminating the $4,000 annual fee and associated staff training time. Existing tools such as email, Microsoft Teams, and call-out lists would continue to provide internal notification capacity without reliance on the vendor system.
