The Village of Long Grove entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village of Hawthorn Woods to coordinate disconnection and annexation of boundary territory, land use controls, and solar energy system restrictions, along with mutual defense and indemnification terms. The agreement is effective March 10, 2026 and continues through the life of the existing boundary agreement between the municipalities.
