This is a succeeding lease renewal for Historic Building 50, following prior lease arrangements between the City and the Navy for museum use. The lease has no preset renewal options; any extension beyond September 30, 2036 would require a mutually agreed modification or new lease, with at least 90 days written notice before the end of the term. The Government retains the right to terminate on 60 days’ written notice, and the City may terminate with 180 days’ notice under the special Acts of God clause if major structural issues arise unless the Government elects to fund repairs.
