Eastern Sierra Transit Authority staff recommend purchasing two Hometown Villager electric trolleys and associated charging infrastructure from Hometown Manufacturing, with an estimated total cost of $1.16 million funded through state TIRCP and ZETCP grants. The first trolley would be procured in FY 2027/28 and a second in FY 2028/29, following performance validation in Mammoth Lakes service.
