The district agrees to make a good faith effort to renew these services annually at or before the beginning of each school year, subject to service availability, continuing need, and cost effectiveness. If services are anticipated to be terminated in the next school year, the district must provide the SBJC at least 180 days’ notice. The district also agrees not to hire SBJC-assigned personnel for one year after contract expiration.
