The Town of Newmarket approved financial participation in York Region’s direct purchase agreement with Axxima Insurance Services and related entities for a two-year term to administer the new Municipal Insurance Pool Program. Town levies will fund the Town’s share, and senior financial staff received delegated authority to approve ongoing contributions if the agreement is extended.
