City And School District Extend And Expand SRO Agreement

The Common Council authorized a new five-year agreement with the Sheboygan Area School District to provide six School Resource Officers at local high and middle schools, including a new position at the alternative charter high school. Under the agreement, the City and District will split all SRO salary and benefit costs 50/50, with the contract automatically renewing annually after 2030 unless terminated.
