Bexar County Juvenile Board approves alternative education MOU

The Bexar County Juvenile Board entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with an Independent School District for providing juvenile justice alternative education services for expelled students. Services will be billed at $135.85 per student per day for discretionary expulsions over the term August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027, with automatic renewal unless otherwise notified. State funding is used for qualifying mandatory expulsions.
