The City of Surprise is adjusting its Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation for the Waddell Road Fiber Optic Connection project by reallocating $500,000 in FY2026 budget authority to cover the City's share of design and increased construction costs. CMAQ funding administered by ADOT continues to cover the majority of the original construction estimate.
