The City of Kingston Common Council approved a budget modification to accept a $50,000 Certified Local Government grant from the NYS Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation and provide a $10,000 local match for a $60,000 historic preservation planning project. The Mayor is authorized to expend the full $60,000 for consultant services to develop a Comprehensive Historic Preservation Plan and Citywide Historic Design Guidelines.
