The Imperial Irrigation District approved CEQA findings to support Amendment No. 1 to its 2024–2026 System Conservation Implementation Agreement with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation. The amendment enables IID to conserve additional Colorado River water in 2026, within previously analyzed volume limits, in exchange for financial compensation over the 2024–2026 term.
