Glenn County Joins Medi-Cal County Inmate Program

The County of Glenn entered into Participation Agreement 26-MCIPGLENN-11 with the California Department of Health Care Services to participate in the Medi-Cal County Inmate Program for juvenile inmates receiving off-site inpatient medical and psychiatric services. Under the agreement, effective July 1, 2026, the County reimburses DHCS for the nonfederal share of covered services and pays annual administrative costs, while DHCS pays Medi-Cal providers and secures federal matching funds.
