Through the Moore’s Creek Decommissioning Agreement, the Rockbridge County Public Service Authority formally relinquishes any emergency water withdrawal rights tied to the Moore’s Creek Reservoir. This clears the way for Lexington to retire the aging dam under new terms negotiated with Rockbridge County.
