The Irving City Council approved an interlocal agreement with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) to enable DART contributions of sales tax increments for eligible projects in the city’s Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones. The 10-year participation terms per zone require a 1:1 local match and are intended to support transit-oriented development and economic growth.
