Petaluma bikeways project slated for TFCA funding

The Sonoma County Transportation Authority staff has recommended awarding the City of Petaluma $206,000 in FY 2025/26 TFCA 40% funds for bikeways that support safe routes to transit and schools. The project will close key bicycle network gaps connecting neighborhoods, schools, and the Petaluma Downtown SMART Station to improve active transportation and air quality.
