Carbon County Commissioners approved an MOU with the City of Rawlins and county fiscal offices to handle special assessments for cleaning up dangerous properties. Starting December 2024, the county will bill and collect these assessments on tax notices at least twice a year, remitting proceeds minus a small administrative fee to Rawlins.
