Ontario Health backs PSW incentives at County homes

Description
Ontario Health signed a 2023-26 Funding Support Agreement with the Corporation of the County of Simcoe to finance personal support worker recruitment incentives and clinical stipends. The program offers up to $10,000 in base incentives, additional rural and relocation bonuses, and paid clinical placements for PSW students at County long-term care homes. Funding runs through March 31, 2026, subject to extension.
