The City of Glendale entered into an agreement with Kary Environmental Services, Inc. for household hazardous waste services, with total compensation not to exceed $300,000. The contractor will collect, transport, and dispose of residential hazardous waste and support bi-annual household hazardous waste events under an initial one-year term with up to four one-year renewals and an optional six‑month extension.

Initial one (1)-year term with up to four (4) additional one-year extensions at the City's option and with Contractor approval; City must provide at least 30 days’ written notice prior to expiration of the original or any extension term. Upon expiration of all terms, the City may extend month-to-month for up to six (6) months to complete a new procurement, under the same terms and conditions. Price adjustments may be considered only prior to each extension and are a factor in renewal decisions.
