City, Parish to Partner on Drainage Ditch Cleanup

The City of Rayne approved a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into cooperative endeavors with the Parish of Acadia and its Police Jury for cleanup of property and maintenance of a key drainage ditch north of East Jefferson Davis Avenue. The agreement will allow use of City equipment and manpower to improve drainage and alleviate flooding.
