Metroplan and the Central Arkansas Planning and Development District have negotiated a Memorandum of Understanding that formalizes Metroplan’s advisory and oversight role as the two organizations move toward a potential merger. The agreement, effective July 6, 2026, will remain in force until a definitive merger document or replacement MOU is executed or either party terminates it with 30 days’ notice.
