Town of Los Gatos Awards Insurance Contract to California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (cjpia) (April 2026)

Los Gatos will join the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority effective July 1, 2026, and enroll in its Liability Protection Program, delegating tort claims handling to CJPIA. The resolutions complete the Town’s transition from its current liability risk pool to the new joint powers insurance provider.
